Two suspects were detained after they led police on a chase through north Houston shortly before midnight on August 19, 2022.
The chase came to an end on N. Wayside near Corpus Christi St after a tire blew out. The driver, a male suspect took off running, while a second suspect, a woman remained in the vehicle.
It is unknown at this time why the driver fled, but according to initial reports, he allegedly hit an officer’s vehicle at one point.
