Heavy police presence at Ingram Park Mall is not an Active Shooter Event

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a suspect involved in a vehicle chase ran into Ingram Park Mall after bailing out of the vehicle.

Police have shut the down mall as they look for the suspect who is described as a Hispanic male, medium build and somewhere between 5’7 and 5’9 in height, with black/blue shoes. Police request that the public stays away from the area as they search for the suspect.

It is currently not known if the suspect is armed or not, but police are trying to make it clear that this is not an active shooter situation at this time.

If you are inside the mall, you are asked to shelter in place while police search for the suspect.

This is a developing story and we will update you as soon as we have more information. If you would like to submit a photo or video of the incident, you can do so by emailing us.
